Visit to the Zoo

This past Saturday we had the same idea as 10 million other people...what a beautiful day for a trip to the zoo! After finally finding a place to park in a nearby neighborhood, our exciting (and hot!) day in the sun with the Lowdens and Rings began. We saw many animals, but Audrey seemed to really like the lioness the best...we think she thought it was a giant dog :) All in all she seemed to enjoy being outside and she even enjoyed her first hotdog for lunch. By the end of our trip she was wiped out!

Easter

Audrey's first Easter consisted of a trip to Bethany Beach - she had lots of fun - her first ride in a swing, first trip down a slide, and her first experience in the sand. She didn't seem too thrilled with the slide, but definitely enjoyed the swing, and really loved playing in the sand. Can't wait until summer! She also loved spending quality time with Grammy, GG, and her new best friend, Riley. The good news is that it seems as though she's finally conquered her fear of dogs. And kudos to Riley for handling all of the poking and prodding so well. The same can not be said for her fear of Uncle Sean (kidding). Apologies to Aunt Mere for not getting a single photo of the two of you together - we'll have to make sure we get one next time.

The weekend capped off with a trip to Nonna and Poppa's house on Sunday for Easter dinner and a easter egg hunt. We had to do all of the steering, but Audrey did most of the picking up. Even though we're pretty sure she had no idea what was going on, she seemed to enjoy herself. She and Parker even did some modeling for the family afterward. They were psyched.
