1st Memorial Day in OC

Sorry (again) for the delay in posting....things have been a little busy. We spent Audrey's first Memorial Day weekend in OC this past weekend, and we were happy to find out that she's quite the little beach baby. She absolutely loves the beach, but keeps us on our toes by sneaking mouthfuls of sand and gulps of seawater out of her little pail. And despite the time Theresa has spent over the last 10+ years at the beach making sure she and her blanket are sand-free, it would seem as though she's finally met her match.

The ocean was too cold to play in, but Audrey seemed oblivious and willing to wade in if we hadn't stopped her. We even got to spend some quality time by the pool, which she loved, despite being a little chilly as well.

After a few months of waffling, she also decided this weekend to put forth maximum effort toward walking. She's been going station to station for over a month now, but for whatever reason she decided on Friday to start walking more than she crawls. It's crazy how fast she's growing up.
