Audrey did her best to help Theresa celebrate her 2nd Mother's Day, which she was apparently so excited about that she even woke up early (6:15) to start the festivities. Fortunately, I was out at the grocery store picking up flowers and fixins' for a surprise breakfast, so I wasn't even around the let Theresa sleep in, which was also part of the plan. So Mother's Day was pretty much ruined about 45 mins. after I woke up. Thankfully Theresa was a very good sport about it. So we did have a nice Mother's Day breakfast, a Mother's Day trip to the car wash, a Mother's Day trip to Home Depot, and a Mother's Day garden and flower planting. Then we went to Nonna and Poppa's house, where Audrey met up with Parker T and after some ice cream cake, madness ensued...
By way of background, we (I) call the action in the first video "tush drops". They are usually performed on Daddy's tummy, and typically on the count of three. Today they were done on Aunt Betty's back, and apparently on the count of ten (minus 5 & 6, which is very common these days). Parker T is also getting in on the fun, but must feel sorry for Aunt Betty and has decided to jump off of her instead of on to her.
This just a brief section of a relatively long game of hide and seek (or maybe peek-a-boo?). Seems like all of that hide and seek had them missing each other at the end.
