As usual, our festivities included egg painting at Nonna and Poppa's, a trip to Bethany beach, more egg painting, and Easter dinner and an egg hunt at Uncle Joe's house down in OC. Both kids reall enjoyed the egg painting, although Audrey took it a little more seriously than Brennan. We're also thankful for mostly washable egg dye, otherwise Brennan's hand would probably still be blue-green.
Another interesting note from the weekend...on the way from Bethany to OC, Audrey told us her vote for the babies name (which is a girl, for those who don't know) - Aleah (Aaliyah?). We have no idea where she heard the name (she said Aunt Marge told her), but ever since she's been referring to the baby by her "name" (e.g., "are those clothes for Aleah?"). We've tried to make it clear that there are other alternatives, but so far she hasn't been interested in hearing it. We wonder if it's possible to get guilted/pigeon-holed into a sibling's name by an almost 4 year old. Stay tuned.
