Halloween

Has it really been two weeks since Halloween? Time sure flies when you're up to your elbows in kids. Halloween was a big hit this year for all of the kids, even Millie, who never blinked an eye at her relatively bulky Nemo costume. The kids warmed up their Halloween spirit by walking in the parade in Nonna and Poppa's neighborhood, and finished up the festivities with the normal Sideburn Court culdesac party and trick or treating. The bit of turnover we've had in the neighborhood over the past few years has resulted in a slew of kids, mostly elementary school and younger, which makes for a lot of neighborhood activity, including soccer games, kickball games, football games, you name it. And despite our better judgment, the adults always seem to get dragged in. No rest for the weary these days...
