Kung Fu Panda

It's been mentioned previously, but Brennan has been semi-obsessed with Kung Fu Panda for the past few months, and more recently developed a small fascination with Shrek. So when we found out that the two of them as well as some other DreamWorks characters were at the National Harbor over the holidays we decided to make the trip the Sunday before Christmas. We thought we were in for a whole slew of characters, which turned out to only be four of them (Puss n' Boots, Kung Fu Panda, Alex the Lion and Shrek), but the kids certainly didn't notice. And they certainly got a little braver since DisneyWorld, with little hesitation in approaching any of the characters or dishing out hugs (for the most part). And we got to follow that up with the tree-lighting, indoor snowfall, 18-story glass elevator ride and a train ride all in the lobby of the Gaylord hotel. A great way to kick-off two weeks of holiday festivities,
