Snow Day!!

Even though the snow accumulation fell way short of forecast (by only about 5" to 8"), we still got enough snow to enjoy ourselves, at least for a little while. It was Brennan's first real semi-relevant snowfall, and boy was he excited. Playing in the snow was the first thing on his mind in the morning, although we were able to persuade him to wait for a bit until there was actually enough snow to sled on. And the waiting was worth it - we had plenty of fun sledding with most of the other neighborhood kids on the hill down the street, making snow angels, and apparently a favorite for our kids (Brennan in particular) - eating snow. It's been a few years since Audrey last really sledded, but she certainly acted like an old pro, asking to go down the path with the ramp almost immediately. She even managed to stay butt-to-sled the whole time, despite catching some modest air on a couple runs. Here's hoping for a little more snow next year...
