Birthday Girl

A weekday birthday makes for a bit of a compressed celebration, unless of course you are lucky enough to have a Mom take off of work for the day for a little one on one time consisting of manicures and pedicures, and hamburgers (her favorite) and milkshakes for lunch. Mom even found enough time to make a 7-layer rainbow cake in the middle, which was beautiful, and tasty, until it collapsed later in the evening (it seems 7-layers may be a 1 or 2 too many).
