It must be something about a boy's hair that makes parents' think they have the necessary skills to cut it at home, but we've definitely found that to be true. We sat him in a high chair so he couldn't escape and Theresa clipped away for a few minutes - he got a little impatient after the first few clips, but we were able to distract him long enough with some of the fallen hair to get the job done. There was a lot going on at the time, so "after" pics will have to follow.

(2nd?) Haircut
The first was really just a trim, once it became clear that the top of his hair was never quite going to catch up to the long, mullet-ish locks in the back. But after a month or so passed, we realized that it was time for his first real haircut - Exhibit A, below.
