1st Day of School

Audrey started her 2nd year of preschool last week with her new teacher, Mrs. Carluccio, in the giraffe class. Thankfully one of her good friends from last year, Eleanor, is in her class and another boy Nicholas from last year is also in the giraffe class. Based on the little she discloses, it seems like she spends most of her time with Eleanor and "new Molly" (this is a different Molly from last year, and how Audrey distinguishes them). There is also a "new Nicholas", but it's unclear how much she interacts with either new or old Nicholas. The good news is that she loves school and is constantly asking about the next time she gets to go. From day one this year she hasn't even so much as turned around at drop-off. Just heads right in without so much as a goodbye. My guess is we have another 6 years or so until her perspective completely flips, but we're enjoying it while it lasts.
