Speed Racer(s)

It seems as though battery operated vehicles multiply if left unattended. At least they do at our house. Especially if the woman of the house is close friends with someone who has kids that are just slightly older than ours, and is willing to get rid of some lightly used equipment before it's put out to the yard sale masses. She just can't turn down a good deal, never mind the fact that we'll soon be parking our cars in the driveway to make room for all of the 2- and 4-wheeled kids vehicles we've collected. It's like a showroom out there. Brennan still has yet to get the hang of driving (he'd drive it off of a cliff if you let him), but thankfully he also enjoys getting chauffeured around by his sister a good bit of the time. Make that enjoyment mixed with a healthy dose of apprehension (and who can blame him). She has much more control of the vehicles at this point, though that doesn't necessarily mean she's any less reckless. If the tires were rubber we'd have skid marks over 80% of the driveway by now.
