Busch Gardens or Bust

We've been trying to find some time this summer to take the kids to an amusement park, specifically Hersheypark or Dutch Wonderland, but between our many beach trips and other weekend commitments we just couldn't find the time to do it. And even then, instead of heading north to either of them, we decided to take the scenic route to the beach and stop by Busch Gardens for the day. Which worked out great, especially because we got to see cousin Janie, Aunt Robyn and Becca, and celebrate Aunt Sherry's birthday while we were down there. 

Historically Audrey's been pretty carefree when it comes to rides, but she must be getting soft in her old age. She wanted nothing to do with the swings and was a little scared of the Grover (kiddie) roller coaster, both things she really like when we went last summer. But Brennan carried the torch for her and went on almost every ride without an ounce of hesitation. That includes the log flume, which actually has a pretty decent drop at the end. But he wasn't phased at all. The same can't be said for his sister, although she definitely gets credit for being brave enough to go on it in the first place.
