Reston Zoo

Spent a day a few weeks ago at the Reston Zoo while Mom was living up at an all-day bachelorette party. The kids really had fun. Feeding the animals was clearly the crowd favorite, but the turtles,  pony rides, budgie (which apparently is what you call parakeets) feeding and the wagon/tractor rides all were close seconds. And the kids got up close and personal with a few animals - a baby llama, baby kangaroo, Brennan got nibbled on while feeding a pig, and the coolest one of all, the Africen Watusi. Best of all, Dad proved capable of handling all three kids doing something other than holing up in the house. It was definitely a big success all around.
