Catching Up

The last few months have been filled with plenty of fall festivities and other activities - apple picking, the pumpkin patch, a camping trip, birthday parties, soccer practices, etc. All of that, on top of the normal rigors of daily life, leaves little time for blogging on a regular basis.

Speaking of, the annual apple picking trip was a huge success again this year. Sadly, Dad's refusal to find an apple he wouldn't pick resulted in almost 30 lbs of apples. That's  2 pies, an apple crisp, 5 weeks of apple eating and 3 different apple donations, and we still have a handful left. Aunt Betty, Uncle Bugs, Aunt Nikki and Riley all joined in the fun this year too. With two new additions next year, we may need to find a bigger orchard.
